So, for anyone that doesn't know - our house was broken into and they took our cameras - as well as some other stuff - but without a camera my blogging is a little limited. I took these pictures with my cheap cell phone so the quality is what it is but I felt like I needed to take pictures...this is Dad & Dan planting our replacement tree. Our big beautiful oak had to come down and it did a little at a time. We finally had the last of it hauled off 2 weeks ago so with the help of 2 young, strong, and service oriented missionaries, we were able to get our totally overgrown flower bed cleared out and readied for a brand new oak tree. Here it is! And many thanks to all who helped - we couldn't have done it without you!!!

Love the new tree. It will be as big as the old one when???? 300 years form now right. I loved the old oak tree,
