So we decided to surprise Penny for her birthday and Michelle for her baby shower. I think we pulled it off but I'm not sure how! There were 7 of us on the plane to SLC - Mom, Denise w/Caitlin, Deana, Linda, Tracy and me. We were able to sit across the same row of seats on the plane which was fun till we had to make a quick landing in Dallas due to loss of pressure in the cabin. But after 2 hours in the Dallas airport (it was 7:00 pm and nothing was open) we were on our way with no more problems.
We drove to Rexburg, Idaho on Friday, Penny's birthday, and surprised the family during Penny's birthday dinner by arriving 2 at a time in the restaurant. Then Saturday we celebrated the impending arrival of Kylee with several of Michelle's friends. It was really nice to meet everyone and, of course, Michelle looks absolutely adorable! After that we drove to Rock Springs, Wyoming where we were able to wish Marc David a happy birthday and celebrate with him by going sledding!
A great big THANK YOU to Brian & Jenni for acting as hosts and chauffeurs. We couldn't have done it without you!! It was a great trip with a lot of time spent with family!! I only hope we didn't overstay our welcome and I look forward to the next time we're able to be together!
