November 2007

Not as many pictures this month. The boys participated in a flag raising ceremony. And Ryan started playing Flag Football. He's really enjoying it!! I guess "flags" is the theme for this month!! We had a very nice Thanksgiving but didn't take any pictures. Oh yeah, the boys and I decorated the Christmas tree. That's about it. Ransom tried his hand at photography so I've thrown in a few that he took at Ryan's first game. Hope all is well with all of you!!

So it was a very busy month...both Donny (12) and Amy (15) celebrated their birthdays. Dan's family had their annual reunion. Tracy is working at the Renaissance Festival this year. Jodi took a trip to Pittsburg to visit a steel mill and was fortunate enough to see the fall colors while she was there. Amy was a face painter for the Tomball High School Art Department during an elementary school carnival. Ryan went on another Boy Scout camp out (unfortunately we don't have pictures of that). Then, of course, there was Halloween!!

September was not a big picture month. There was plenty going on, we just kept forgetting the camera! Some of the things we don't have pictures of: We went to Dan's Aunt Betty's 80th Birthday celebration. It was a very nice dinner of yummy bar-b-que! We also celebrated our niece, Megan's, birthday. Again, more yummy food!! Some of the things we have pictures of: Ryan had a camp out in the Freeport area. They were supposed to go to Galveston but a tropical storm blew in so they had to go south. They were supposed to be earning their Fisherman's badge but the fish weren't biting! Ransom gets into gelling his hair. He wants to grow it long and comb it back like Elvis!! There was a Primary Activity day this past Saturday. They were supposed to take a slightly used toy or book but we decided a new coloring book would work just as well. Needless to say they weren't thrilled to go. I think they're getting too old. The girls are doing good. They play together and sunbathe together. And they both sleep with us!
